Our Story
Fun, Yet Serious Platform
Eco Gecko was born out of a passion for nature and a desire to make environmental education accessible, engaging, and fun.
Starting with small-scale workshops and talks in local schools, we realized there was a need for a platform that combined knowledge, exploration, and creativity. This led to the creation of our monthly magazine and a range of programs designed to encourage students aged 9-12 to discover the world of biodiversity.
Our journey has been exciting, marked by meaningful interactions with children, educators, and nature enthusiasts. Through our workshops, field trips, and educational seminars, we have seen first-hand the impact that a hands-on, interactive approach to learning can have on young minds.

Story of Eco Gecko
A Shared Vision of Dhruv and Preeti
Eco Gecko was born from the shared passion of Dhruv and Preeti, a husband-and-wife team dedicated to environmental education.
Dhruv, with over 15 years of experience in biodiversity and environmental advocacy, and Preeti, a Chartered Accountant with a deep love for nature, combined their strengths to create a platform that fosters environmental awareness in young minds.
As parents, they recognized the importance of educating the next generation about biodiversity and conservation early on.
Their collective journey, driven by a desire to inspire children to love and protect nature, led to the creation of Eco Gecko—a fun, educational platform that empowers students to explore and appreciate the environment.

Dhruv
Mentor, Environmental Advocate, and Educator
Dhruv is an architect by profession with over 15 years of experience in the field of biodiversity. His passion for nature began with bird watching, which soon evolved into wildlife photography and environmental advocacy.
As the founder of Planet Untamed Magazine, Dhruv has dedicated himself to raising awareness about the natural world and its conservation. He has conducted numerous workshops in housing societies and schools, educating both adults and children about biodiversity and environmental protection.
Driven by the belief that environmental education should start early, Dhruv aims to inspire children at a young age to develop a lifelong love for nature.
His goal is to nurture their curiosity and understanding of the environment, empowering them to become the next generation of nature advocates.
Preeti
Mentor, Nature Enthusiast, and Conservation Advocate
Preeti, a Chartered Accountant by profession, discovered her love for nature and biodiversity 10 years ago after witnessing the deterioration of natural ecosystems firsthand. This experience made her deeply sensitive toward environmental conservation.
As a mother of a 2-year-old, Preeti is the visionary behind Eco Gecko, developing it as a platform for educating young minds about the environment.
She enjoys spending time in nature, observing biodiversity with her binoculars, and is passionate about inspiring others to appreciate and protect the environment for future generations.
